Brahmaputra Valley English Academy (BVEA) is the place where education gets a new definition. BVEA was established in the year 2012. In a very short span of time, it has shown tremendous development in terms of knowledge and personal growth in the students. Brahmaputra Valley English Academy, a co-educational school at Bongara,  Guwahati – 781 015, Dist. Kamrup, Assam has been established to meet the aspirations of the people of the locality desiring a quality educational institution. The school holds an assurance for providing educational facilities that are not only national in character and of the highest order but also ensure the fullest development of the child in all aspects, so the students will be capable of facing all challenges of life; be it physical, mental  and social with the right attitude.

              The School is managed by B.K. Modak Educational Trust. The vision of the Trust aims at harnessing the young talents and channelizing them in right direction. Brahmaputra Valley English Academy is affiliated with Central Board of secondary Education, New Delhi. Vide affiliation No. 230128.


The Curriculum has been designed as per the CBSE (NCERT) syllabus to ensure that the students discover themselves and the environment through exploration and discovery. This will make them innovative in their thought and practical in actions, which will be reflected through scholastic and non scholastic activities.


Brahmaputra Valley English Academy is well  equipped digital classroom with CC TV coverage, well stocked Library, Activity Room, Science Lab, Computer Lab, Indoor Games Room  and Outdoor Games area.



Brahmaputra Valley English Academy has been divided into 4 (Four) section- pre-primary (Play group to Kindergarten), Primary (Class I to Class V) and Middle section class (VI to Class VIII) and Higher Section (IX-X). The School emphasises practical application of theoretical knowledge. Here the students learn by doing or experiencing what they learn. As a result, the understanding of subjects is not just limited to the pages of textbooks but is a part of everyday life.



Qualified and experienced teachers form the backbone of the school. The Teachers are being trained to impart education in a friendly and innovative manner and are updated with the latest contemporary methods of teaching through periodical orientation, workshops etc. A low teacher’s student ratio is maintained to ensure a high degree of personal attention and care. Discipline is the most vital part of training at Brahmaputra Valley English Academy. Children are encouraged to take part in various activities and explore various situations so as to find out for themselves their interests and goals. The entire schooling process is synthesis of academic and extra –curricular activities. There will be continuous effort by the school to encourage the child to continuously discover and reinvent himself / herself as a unique individual and utilize his or her leisure time in a healthy and productive manner. The students are encouraged to peruse Hobbies and career oriented pastimes such as Music, Art, Recitation, Creative-Writing, Dance, Gardening and Plantation, Dramatics etc. Theatre-workshops form a very important part of the school curriculum. Inter-class, inter-house and inter-school competitions and activities such as panel discussions, seminars, symposiums, debates and quiz are regular feature. The students are encourages to participate in Socially Useful Productive Work (SUPW) and provide community service. Picnics, Nature Study and Scouting which will include periodical Trekking and Hiking.  Students are encouraged to learn musical instrument like Guitar, Tabla, Keyboard, Drums etc. To ensure physical fitness among the students the school provides facilities for Cricket, Football, Table Tennis, Badminton, Volley Ball etc.


Admission starts from the month of December for the next academic session for every year Registration/ Admission form can be collected along with the prospectus from the school office. All the necessary testimonials must be submitted along with the admission form.
